The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced a competitive tender for RMB1.25 billion of 5-year institutional government bonds scheduled for Thursday, 13 August 2026, with settlement on Monday, 17 August 2026. The bonds represent a reopening of existing issue 05GB3105001 under the Infrastructure Bond Programme, expanding the HKSAR Government’s debt issuance to fund infrastructure projects.
