Nasdaq has agreed to acquire Dasseti, an AI-powered due diligence and monitoring platform, to integrate the firm’s capabilities into Nasdaq eVestment and address fragmentation in institutional manager research and evaluation. The acquisition extends Nasdaq’s institutional network across public and private markets, connecting roughly 4,800 asset managers with more than 1,000 asset owners and intermediaries managing approximately $90 trillion in assets under management.
- AUM covered by Nasdaq eVestment ecosystem: $90 trillion
- Active asset managers on platform: 4,800
- Private market managers covered: 16,000
- Products across markets: 112,000+
- Prior relationship: Nasdaq Ventures investment in Dasseti since 2022
Institutional investment teams currently manage due diligence questionnaires, RFPs, and monitoring activities across disconnected spreadsheets, PDFs, and email threads, creating operational inefficiencies that have intensified as private markets exposure expands. Dasseti’s AI-embedded platform automates response generation, intelligently extracts data, and normalizes information across workflows, capabilities that will now connect directly to Nasdaq eVestment’s existing manager research and intelligence infrastructure.
“As institutional investment teams navigate expanding private markets exposure, growing data demands, and more complex reporting requirements, they need integrated platforms, not standalone tools,” said Oliver Albers, Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer, Capital Access Platforms, Nasdaq.

The combined platform delivers dual benefits: investment consultants and institutional investors gain a complete manager research and due diligence lifecycle within a single environment, while asset managers streamline their institutional submissions and engagement across RFPs and questionnaires.
Dasseti adds substantial network depth in private markets, reinforcing Nasdaq eVestment’s coverage of 95,000+ private funds. The acquisition reflects growing institutional demand for AI-ready data environments and workflows that reduce manual data collection and normalization, allowing teams to focus on analysis and decision-making rather than information reconciliation.
