eToro (UK) Limited reported net income of $177.7 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2024, up 41% from $125.7 million in the prior year, according to accounts filed with Companies House.

The FCA-regulated social trading platform recorded trading commissions of $145.9 million, a 38% increase from $106 million in 2023, driven by renewed retail investor optimism and a strong crypto bull run in the fourth quarter.

Operating profit rose to $6.4 million from $1.4 million, while profit before tax nearly doubled to $6.4 million compared with $3.2 million in 2023. Net profit after tax reached $6 million, up from $2.5 million.

The company, a subsidiary of eToro Group Limited registered in the British Virgin Islands, disclosed client money held in a fiduciary capacity totaling $472.1 million at year-end, up from $320.5 million in 2023.

Administrative expenses climbed to $171.3 million from $124.3 million, with intercompany fees to related parties accounting for $141.8 million of operating costs.

Average headcount declined slightly to 59 employees from 60 in the prior year. Directors received total compensation of $1.17 million, with the highest-paid director earning $441,468 including a bonus of $151,003.

The company noted that eToro Group has filed a Registration Statement with the SEC relating to a proposed initial public offering, though no certainty exists regarding timing or completion. No dividends were paid during the period, and directors do not recommend a distribution.
