CONSOB, Italy’s financial markets regulator, has renewed the appointment of Secretary-General Nadia Linciano for a second term extending through 14 September 2033. The renewal, recommended by Chairman Guido Stazi and authorized by Resolution No. 24130 on 15 September 2026, reflects continued confidence in Linciano’s leadership of the regulatory body.

Linciano, who joined CONSOB in 1998, initially became Secretary-General under the chairmanship of Paolo Savona in October 2024 and has since continued under Deputy Chair Chiara Mosca. Her reappointment recognizes her extensive experience in both securities regulation and economic research at the commission.

Before her current role, Linciano served as Director-General coordinating Office III of the Prime Minister’s PNRR Task Force from May 2023 through October 2024. Between December 2021 and May 2023, she held dual posts at CONSOB as Head of the Research Division and acting Head of the Economic Research Office, strengthening her institutional credibility across regulatory and analytical functions.
