Bakkt, Inc. (NYSE: BKKT) appointed Matt White as Chief Financial Officer effective August 17, 2026, as the financial technology company transitions into a new growth phase centered on AI-powered infrastructure and disciplined capital allocation. White succeeds Karen Alexander, who transitioned from the role on August 14, 2026, and will continue in an advisory capacity during the transition.

White brings over two decades of public company finance experience spanning technology, payments, capital markets, and corporate strategy. At CoreCard, he was integral to the company’s growth trajectory before its acquisition by the Luxembourg-based payments processor. His expertise encompasses financial strategy, capital allocation, public company governance, strategic transactions and scalable infrastructure development for technology firms.
