Deribit, the cryptocurrency options exchange operated by Coinbase, has integrated its options offering on CoinRoutes‘ multi-asset trading platform, enabling institutional trading desks to manage spot, futures, and options exposure through a single workflow. The integration launched with support for inverse Bitcoin and Ethereum options, as well as linear options for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP.
- Supported Assets: Inverse BTC and ETH options; linear BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP options
- Platform Features: Options surface visibility, live bids and asks, Greeks, and real-time portfolio risk and PnL monitoring
- Market Access: CoinRoutes connectivity to 60+ venues supporting thousands of instruments
The integration addresses growing institutional demand for consolidated derivatives execution and risk management. Institutional clients maintain their existing Deribit account structure and relationship while accessing options liquidity through CoinRoutes’ API and portal alongside spot and futures markets.
CoinRoutes is making it easier for institutional trading desks to access Deribit’s options liquidity within the workflows they already use. Bringing options together with spot and futures in one environment helps clients trade and manage risk more efficiently across the full derivatives stack.
– Luuk Strijers, Senior Director, Head of International Derivatives at Coinbase
The move reflects Deribit’s broader strategy to expand institutional adoption by integrating with established trading platforms. CoinRoutes offers algorithmic trading strategies, portfolio management tools, and connectivity across fragmented global markets, serving institutions managing traditional equities, digital assets, and futures contracts globally.
