Galaxy Digital has been selected by Morgan Stanley Investment Management as an approved validator to power staking for two new digital asset exchange-traded products launched August 18, 2026. The Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) and Morgan Stanley Solana Trust (MSOL) will stake portions of their holdings through institutional validators, including Galaxy, with staking rewards passed to shareholders through regular distributions.

  • Galaxy’s Staked Assets: $2.8 billion across Ethereum, Solana, and other proof-of-stake networks as of Q2 2026
  • Validators Selected: Galaxy is one of three firms chosen to support staking across both products
  • Morgan Stanley AUM: $2 trillion in assets under management or supervision as of June 30, 2026
  • Product Tickers: MSSE (Ethereum) and MSOL (Solana) on NYSE Arca

The selection reflects broadening institutional adoption of digital asset infrastructure, as traditional asset managers transition from observation to active participation. Galaxy’s appointment extends its validator services across both Ethereum and Solana networks, signaling confidence in the firm’s operational standards at institutional scale.

Ethereum and Solana have different validator requirements, different client bases, different risk considerations. Morgan Stanley Investment Management evaluated us against both networks, separately, and came back with the same answer twice. That’s the kind of diligence institutional capital requires, and it’s exactly the standard we built this business to meet.

Steve Kurz, Global Co-Head of Digital Assets at Galaxy, emphasized the significance of Morgan Stanley’s dual selection. The partnership underscores Galaxy’s expansion as a staking infrastructure provider serving major asset managers, with a focus on performance, uptime, and operational rigor. Galaxy Digital (Nasdaq: GLXY) operates across digital assets and data center infrastructure, including its 1.6 GW Helios campus in Texas, positioning the company among North America’s largest data center developers.
