Belgium’s Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has issued a public warning against Levels Socials, an unauthorized investment services provider operating in the country. The regulator cautions that the company operates without proper licensing and may be conducting outright investment fraud through a deceptive trading platform scheme.
- Regulatory Status: Levels Socials is not authorized to offer investment services in Belgium
- Fraud Type: Advanced scam disguised as a fraudulent trading platform
- Previous Warnings: FSMA issued related warnings on April 23 and March 12, 2026
- Regulator Action: Entity added to the FSMA’s list of fraudulent trading platforms
Levels Socials uses online marketing to attract investors with promises of quick and easy returns, the FSMA stated. While the offers appear commercially attractive, they constitute sophisticated scams that result in substantial financial losses for victims. The regulator strongly advises the public to reject any financial service offers from the company and to avoid transferring funds to any bank accounts it provides.
The FSMA urges individuals who suspect they have been victimized to cease all transactions immediately and sever contact with the platform. Victims should notify their banks, report the fraud to authorities and the FSMA, and document all communications and transaction records. The regulator warns that fraudsters frequently contact previous victims offering recovery services in exchange for fees, a tactic that constitutes secondary fraud.
Consumers seeking to verify whether a financial services provider holds proper authorization can use the FSMA’s “Check your provider” verification tool on its website. The regulator’s list of fraudulent trading platforms is updated frequently but remains incomplete. Further guidance on recognizing and avoiding investment fraud is available on the FSMA website, including video resources in Dutch and French.
