FOREX.com, operating through StoneX Securities Co., Ltd., launched weekend trading on US S&P 500 and US Tech 100 CFDs in Japan on October 21, 2026, positioning itself as the first online trading platform in the country to offer these products seven days per week. The service extends trading access beyond traditional market hours, enabling Japanese investors to respond to market-moving events and manage positions outside standard business hours.

  • Products offered: US S&P 500 and US Tech 100 CFDs
  • Trading schedule: Monday-Friday 07:00-06:00 JST; Saturday 17:00-06:00 JST; Sunday 07:00-06:00 JST
  • Parent company: StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SNEX)
  • Regulatory status: StoneX Securities is registered with Japan’s Financial Services Agency

The launch follows FOREX.com‘s August introduction of overnight trading on select Japanese stock CFDs, building on a strategy to provide continuous market access across multiple geographies. Extended trading windows allow investors to manage risk exposure in real time and act on developments that unfold outside conventional market hours, particularly relevant given the global nature of equity markets.

Markets are increasingly shaped by events that occur outside traditional trading hours, and investors expect the ability to respond in real time. In August, we were the first in Japan to offer overnight trading on selected Japan Stock CFDs and Japan Stock CFD Knock-Out Options, extending access to trading opportunities outside regular domestic market hours. Today, we are building on that momentum and offering weekend trading on the US SP 500 and US Tech 100 CFDs. By broadening access across both the Japanese and US markets, we are empowering clients by providing them with more solutions to help manage risks, act on new information, and engage with global markets.
