smartTrade Technologies unveiled smartTrade Flow, a post-trade platform designed to automate matching, reconciliation, settlement, and regulatory reporting across FX, precious metals, money markets, fixed income, crypto, and derivatives. The platform, launched September 14, 2026, addresses inefficiencies that typically occur after trade execution by consolidating middle- and back-office functions into a single application.

  • Asset Classes Covered: FX, precious metals, money markets, fixed income, crypto, derivatives
  • Core Functions: Real-time matching and reconciliation, nostro/vostro tracking, configurable settlement queues, audit trail recording
  • Integration: Standalone product via API; native connectivity to LiquidityFX and Commercial Banking & Payments platforms
  • Launch Event: Public debut at TradeTech FX Europe, Amsterdam, September 15-17, 2026
  • Regulatory Reporting: Supports EMIR, MiFID II, DTCC submissions and SWIFT/CLS reconciliation

“Our clients trust technology for their trading and payments workflows. But what happens after the trade is often where inefficiencies, breaks and errors occur, costing both time and money.”

– David Vincent, CEO and Co-Founder of smartTrade Technologies

Flow addresses persistent operational challenges in post-trade processing. The platform performs real-time matching against external account data via SWIFT, CLS, and API connections, eliminating overnight batch reconciliation cycles where breaks typically surface after settlement. It provides continuous visibility into cash positions, risk limits and profit-and-loss calculations rather than end-of-day snapshots. Settlement operations move from manual email-based workflows to configurable automated queues with built-in screening, funding and approval controls.

The platform generates regulatory reports directly to trade repositories and maintains complete audit trails of user and system actions. Business users can configure matching rules and reconciliation workflows without developer involvement, with alerts delivered through email or Microsoft Teams. For institutions using smartTrade‘s LiquidityFX or Commercial Banking & Payments platforms, trades and payments flow directly into Flow without re-keying or vendor integration overhead.
