Robinhood Markets, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOOD) has selected OG.com as its infrastructure and clearing partner for prediction markets, the companies announced September 8, 2026. Under the multi-year agreement, Robinhood will route retail event contract volume through OG.com‘s CFTC-regulated derivatives exchange and clearinghouse. Robinhood will hold equity stakes in both Crypto.com and OG.com following the latter’s spin-off as an independent entity, with equity pricing aligned to Citadel Securities‘ recent $20 billion valuation of the Crypto.com Group.

  • OG.com Valuation: $5 billion (standalone valuation from Crypto.com spin-off)
  • Launch Date: September 8, 2026 (phased rollout to eligible U.S. customers)
  • Regulatory Status: OG.com operates as a CFTC-designated contract market and derivatives clearing organization; Robinhood Derivatives, LLC is a registered futures commission merchant
  • Contract Categories: Macroeconomic indicators, global sports, elections, cultural milestones, and financial events

The partnership expands Robinhood‘s prediction markets capabilities to handle institutional-grade liquidity and instant clearing. OG.com‘s operational separation from Crypto.com provides dedicated capital allocation and regulatory clarity focused exclusively on scaling its prediction markets and regulated derivatives platform. Robinhood Derivatives, LLC operates as a registered futures commission merchant and National Futures Association member, ensuring compliance throughout the infrastructure.

Robinhood‘s VP and GM of Futures and Prediction Markets stated that the partnership strengthens the company’s market position while meeting growing customer demand for prediction market engagement. The arrangement aligns retail accessibility with institutional-grade derivatives execution, positioning both entities to capture demand for CFTC-regulated event contract trading globally.
