Public, a brokerage platform featuring AI agents, has integrated Kalshi, the CFTC-regulated prediction market exchange, letting users trade event contracts and use prediction data as signals for automated portfolio trades.
- Market categories: Crypto, commodities, climate, economics, corporate events, markets, indices, tech and science, politics and elections
- Trading options: Direct event contract trades or AI agent-executed trades based on prediction market signals
- Use cases: Federal Reserve rate cut assessments, bitcoin price movement predictions, corporate event likelihood evaluation
- Availability: Accessible to all Public members immediately
Prediction markets give those agents a new input: real-world events. Members can take a position on the event directly, or use the market’s data as the signal that triggers a trade anywhere else in their portfolio.
– Leif Abraham, Co-CEO and Co-Founder, Public
The integration enables Public members to access Kalshi‘s real-time, market-implied probabilities through the same infrastructure used for stocks, bonds, and other assets. The prediction market translates trading activity into continuously updated event probability signals as new information enters the market. Kalshi‘s calibrated data has become a resource for investment research, analysis, and risk management across financial markets.
In addition to trading event contracts directly, Public members can now use the probabilities our markets produce as a signal alongside stocks, bonds, crypto and other assets. Bringing this data into Public’s AI agents shows how prediction markets are increasingly being used to assess risk, inform investment views and support trading strategies.
– Max Crowley, Vice President of Business Development, Kalshi
The partnership demonstrates the expanding role of prediction markets in portfolio construction and risk assessment. By integrating event-based contract data with equity and fixed-income trades, investors gain access to alternative signals for strategy execution. Kalshi operates as a CFTC-regulated financial exchange, while Public positions itself as an agentic brokerage enabling automated, strategy-driven investing.
