MEXC, a cryptocurrency exchange serving over 40 million users, reported significant growth in tokenized asset trading during July 2026, driven largely by the launch of Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain designed for real-world assets. The platform’s individual stock futures volume jumped 111% month-over-month, while tokenized US stocks captured 62% of total spot trading volume, becoming the largest category on the exchange’s spot market.

Memory chip manufacturers dominated trading activity in July, with SanDisk, SK Hynix, and Micron collectively accounting for 18% of all TradFi futures volume. SanDisk futures ranked third overall by volume, with contract activity surging more than 15 times in a single month. The three companies supply memory chips for artificial intelligence data centers, with Micron showing a one-year gain near 700% and SanDisk approaching 4,000%.
Robinhood Chain assets drove activity across multiple token categories in its first month. Memecoins claimed three of the ten most-traded new listings, while utility tokens including a token launch service, a lender accepting tokenized stocks as collateral, and a protocol paying holders in tokenized stocks filled three additional slots. Six of July’s ten strongest new listings were memecoins, averaging peak gains of 1,371%, a shift from June when AI-linked tokens dominated gain rankings.
MEXC conducted four featured campaigns in July that registered more than 100,000 users. The TradFi Gala campaign generated 3.5 billion USDT in trading volume with a prize pool up to 1 million USDT, while the Airdrop+ program distributed over 500,000 USDT across twelve campaigns, including a new track for established tokens.
