FalconX has acquired bloXroute, a blockchain networking and trading technology provider, to strengthen its institutional platform as financial assets increasingly move onchain. The deal, announced July 15, 2026, combines bloXroute’s blockchain connectivity infrastructure with FalconX’s trading capabilities to support 24/7 execution, capital efficiency, and risk management across tokenized markets.

  • Expanded asset classes: Oil, gold, silver, compute, and tokenized equities
  • Founded: bloXroute in 2017
  • FalconX affiliate status: First CFTC-registered swap dealer focused on cryptocurrency derivatives
  • Transaction terms: Undisclosed

FalconX expanded its client-facing trading business throughout 2026 across multiple asset classes, positioning itself to capture institutional demand as traditional and digital markets converge. The acquisition accelerates development of new trading, financing, and prime brokerage capabilities while strengthening support for clients navigating tokenized markets across both traditional and digital assets.

“We believe the future of capital markets will be onchain. As onchain and traditional markets continue to converge, institutions will need a single platform built for both.”

bloXroute operates the industry’s leading blockchain connectivity networks, enabling market participants to receive blockchain data and submit transactions with greater speed and reliability. The company’s technology is used by market makers, trading firms, validators, builders, exchanges, and developers across major blockchain ecosystems. FalconX, backed by investors including Accel, Altimeter Capital, and Tiger Global Management, operates offices across Silicon Valley, New York, London, Hong Kong, Bengaluru, Singapore, and Valletta.
