Bybit, a cryptocurrency exchange serving more than 80 million users across 181 countries, launched US equities trading on its platform through a partnership with Alpaca, a brokerage infrastructure provider. The expansion, powered by regulated investment dealer Infra Capital Limited under Mauritius financial oversight, gives Bybit users access to over 1,000 US stocks and ETFs alongside digital assets in a single trading account.

  • Securities available: Over 1,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs with fractional shares
  • Trading hours: 24/5 access across US pre-market, regular, and after-hours sessions
  • Regulatory framework: Clearing and settlement through Alpaca Securities LLC, a FINRA/SIPC member
  • User base: 80 million registered users in 181 countries and regions

The launch reflects growing demand from Bybit’s community for diversified asset exposure. The platform has positioned itself as the “New Financial Platform,” targeting the 1.4 billion underbanked people globally by unifying access to cryptocurrencies, traditional equities, payments, and yield products.

When Bybit started, crypto was still a relatively new market, and the experience for traders was quite fragmented. We wanted to build a platform that could provide the technology, liquidity, and reliability that people expected from modern financial markets.

– Ben Zhou, Co-Founder and CEO, Bybit

Bringing US Stocks trading to the Bybit platform allows us to operate as a dynamic marketplace. This launch allows us to meet the growing sophistication of our users head-on, offering a unified user experience where clients can access global markets cleanly, efficiently, and securely.

– Ben Zhou, Co-Founder and CEO, Bybit

Bybit set out to connect traditional and digital markets inside one platform, and this launch demonstrates what that looks like in practice. Our regulated, self-clearing infrastructure supports Bybit in bringing US equities trading to their platform through Infra Capital Limited, giving their users access to US markets alongside the digital assets they already hold.

– Yoshi Yokokawa, Co-Founder and CEO, Alpaca

Alpaca provides the clearing and settlement infrastructure through Alpaca Securities LLC, which operates as a self-clearing broker. The partnership enables Bybit users to trade through the platform’s Unified Trading Account, combining cryptocurrency and equities strategies. Bybit was founded in 2018 to democratize access to financial markets globally.
