Belgium’s Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has added 51 fraudulent trading platforms to its official blacklist, warning the public against schemes that promise quick investment returns but deliver significant financial losses instead. The latest enforcement action underscores the regulator’s ongoing battle against sophisticated online fraud targeting retail investors across Europe.

  • Total platforms flagged: 51 fraudulent trading entities
  • Fraud method: Online platforms luring investors with promises of easy earnings
  • Previous warnings issued: 23 April and 10 August 2026
  • Key blacklisted platforms: Chain Eprex Pro, EthAMG 2.6, Gent Beursveks, Koersaven, and 46 others

The FSMA identified 10 websites functioning as referral channels to fraudulent platforms and 41 unauthorized trading platforms operating under various names. Prominent fraudulent entities include Chain Eprex Pro, EthAMG 2.6, Gent Beursveks, and Koersaven, which operated across multiple domain variations to circumvent detection. Many platforms employed deceptive cloning techniques, mimicking legitimate regulated firms to build false credibility with unsuspecting investors.

The FSMA advised investors who have fallen victim to fraudulent platforms to immediately cease all transactions, cease contact with operators, and report the fraud to their bank and law enforcement. The regulator emphasized particular caution against so-called “recovery rooms,” where fraudsters contact previous victims offering to recover lost funds—for a fee—perpetuating the fraud cycle. The authority maintains an updated list of unauthorized providers on its website and recommends investors verify regulatory status before engaging with any trading platform.

The FSMA is Belgium’s independent financial regulator responsible for overseeing securities markets, investment firms, and consumer protection within the country’s financial sector.
