Coincheck Group N.V. announced on September 17, 2026, that Takashi Oyagi has resigned as Executive Director and Executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. The Amsterdam-based digital finance platform will transition leadership as Pascal St-Jean assumes the role of Executive Chairperson in addition to his existing responsibilities as CEO and President, while Satoshi Hasuo, the Company’s Chief Stakeholder Officer, will serve as temporary replacement executive director.

Oyagi will not stand for re-election at the upcoming annual general meeting scheduled for September 25, 2026. The company confirmed that agenda item 4.a regarding his re-election will not proceed to a shareholder vote.
