ATFX, a global online trading broker, has received regulatory approval to expand its product offerings in Colombia to include crypto-related products. The Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia (SFC) granted the authorization through Resolution No. 1255 on August 28, 2026, which became effective on September 1, 2026. The expansion allows AT Global Markets Intl Ltd, which operates ATFX’s Representative Office in Colombia, to promote a broader range of international financial products to Colombian residents within the established regulatory framework.

  • Authorization Date: August 28, 2026 (effective September 1, 2026)
  • Regulator: Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia (SFC)
  • New Product Category: Crypto-related products
  • Previous Authorization: Resolution No. 2065 (November 14, 2025) established the Representative Office

This authorization builds on earlier regulatory approval granted to AT Global Markets Intl Ltd through Resolution No. 2065 in November 2025, which authorized the opening of the Representative Office to conduct promotional activities for foreign products and services. The new resolution expands the scope of eligible products beyond those initially authorized, enabling ATFX to communicate additional market opportunities to Colombian clients.

This expansion of products marks another important step in the continued development of ATFX’s presence in Colombia. The inclusion of crypto-related products within the scope of products authorised for promotion enables us to broaden the range of market opportunities we can communicate to the Colombian market, while continuing to operate within the regulatory framework established by the SFC.

– Ergin Erdemir, Head of ATFX Latin America

The expansion reflects ATFX’s strategy to strengthen its footprint in Colombia and accelerate growth across Latin America by combining a diversified product portfolio with compliance with local regulatory requirements. AT Global Markets Intl Ltd is regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius under license number C118023331.
