TradingView has released a public beta of its MCP Server, enabling direct integration between user accounts and Claude and other AI assistants compatible with the Model Context Protocol. The server allows users to access market quotes, price history, screening tools, fundamental analysis, news, SEC filings, economic calendars, and watchlist management through conversational AI, available immediately for Essential tier and higher-tier subscribers.

  • Availability: Public beta for Essential and higher-tier plans
  • Compatible Platforms: Claude (web, desktop, mobile, and Claude Code), and any MCP-compatible AI client
  • Setup Time: Approximately one minute
  • Key Features: Screener, fundamental analysis, technical indicators, alert management, and SEC filing access

The integration operates on Model Context Protocol, an open standard that enables AI systems to access external tools and data securely without web scraping or approximation. Users can connect their TradingView account by copying a link, navigating to their AI assistant’s connector settings, and approving access. TradingView noted that request limits may be implemented during the beta period to maintain service reliability.

The server enables advanced use cases, including comprehensive market briefings combining price action, technical indicators, news, and analyst consensus in a single response. Users can describe screening criteria in plain language, and the assistant executes searches, explains results, saves watchlists, and configures alerts automatically. The integration also supports earnings preparation by aggregating calendar data, SEC filings, and historical fundamentals, and enables analysis of earnings call transcripts and regulatory filings without manual review.

Additional capabilities include macro analysis using economic calendars and cross-country data, alert post-mortems tracking price action following triggered setups, multi-asset comparisons across exchanges and sectors, and integration with coding environments through Claude Code. Users can request two years of historical data and perform correlations without API key management or CSV exports. TradingView is collecting feedback through Reddit as the feature progresses through beta testing.
