SK hynix (SKHYNIX) ranked second overall with 401% volume growth, while Micron (MU) climbed to third with 267% growth. Five of the top 10 stock futures tracked memory and storage companies. Combined Korean market futures volume jumped 348%, raising their market share from 14% in July to 27% in August, while SanDisk (SNDK) futures slipped from 25% to 11% of total volume. S&P 500 index futures declined 32%, reflecting the sector rotation.
Beyond semiconductors, Tesla (TSLA) stock futures surged 784% to rank tenth, while SpaceX (SPCX) futures rose 45%. Tokenized stocks and ETFs spot trading expanded with 30% volume growth, with approximately 99% of existing listings recording higher volumes. Circle (CRCL) led the segment with 69% monthly growth, while Nebius (NBIS), an AI cloud infrastructure company, posted the highest growth rate at 188% among top 10 performers.
