CONSOB, Italy’s financial regulator, has ordered the blocking of 11 websites conducting unauthorised investment services and operating unlicensed trading platforms. The action, announced on 10 September 2026, brings the total number of blocked websites to 1,816 since the authority gained blocking powers in July 2019.

  • Websites Blocked: Zynerix, Royalassetmanagement, Interactive, PUPRIME, and Rocketprobit/flintmoor.buzz
  • Total Blocks Since 2019: 1,816 websites
  • Crypto-Related Blocks: 233 websites

The blocked entities include Zynerix, Royalassetmanagement, Interactive, PUPRIME, and the Rocketprobit network operating under multiple domains. Internet service providers in Italy are actively implementing access blocks, though CONSOB noted that technical delays may require several days for full implementation across networks.

CONSOB emphasized that deceptive practices are evolving rapidly, with scammers increasingly deploying sophisticated techniques including cloned websites, fabricated profiles of politicians and celebrities, and synthetic media generated by artificial intelligence systems. The regulator urged investors to verify that investment service providers are authorised and that financial products include published prospectuses or white papers before committing funds.

The authority has published guidance on protecting against financial fraud in the artificial intelligence era and maintains a dedicated “Watch out for scams!” section on its website offering investor protection resources. CONSOB stressed that savers must exercise heightened vigilance when evaluating investment opportunities, particularly those promoted through unverified digital channels.
