Galaxy Digital has partnered with Total Safety to establish dedicated emergency services at its Helios Data Center Campus in Dickens County, Texas. The agreement brings 24/7 professional fire, rescue, paramedic, and EMT coverage to the sprawling facility, designed to complement rather than burden the county’s volunteer emergency response teams.

Austin Storms, Co-Head of Galaxy Data Centers, stated that the partnership aims to build professional emergency response capacity on campus while respecting the volunteer teams serving the region. By maintaining its own emergency services presence, Galaxy reduces demands on local responders, freeing county resources for the broader community.
The arrangement addresses specific regional challenges. With the nearest trauma center located 60 miles away in Lubbock, on-site paramedic services are positioned to improve response times and medical outcomes for emergencies occurring at or near the campus. The partnership also enhances regional preparedness during major incidents, including grass fires and severe weather events common to West Texas. Galaxy and Total Safety plan to coordinate training with local volunteer teams, integrating with the existing mutual aid network rather than replacing established protocols.
The initiative reflects Galaxy Digital’s broader commitment to community investment as the Helios campus expands. The company operates as a global leader in digital asset and data center infrastructure, currently building one of North America’s largest data center pipelines spanning more than 5.7 gigawatts of potential capacity.
