JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. (JPXI), a subsidiary of Japan Exchange Group, will launch a daily distribution service for outstanding margin trading data beginning September 28, 2026. The service will complement JPXI’s existing weekly offering, providing traders and market participants with real-time visibility into margin positions across individual securities listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

  • Launch Date: September 28, 2026
  • Data Frequency: Daily updates based on end-of-previous-business-day positions
  • Coverage: Outstanding margin transactions by issue, long/short positions, and negotiable/standardized transactions
  • Distribution Channels: APIs, FTP/SFTP file transfer, Snowflake data sharing, and CSV downloads
  • Early Subscription Discount: 75% off usage fees through March 2027 for contracts signed by December 31, 2026

The service enables market participants to monitor leverage conditions and supply-demand trends on an intraday basis, facilitating more informed trade timing and risk management decisions. The daily granularity addresses gaps left by weekly reporting, allowing traders to respond to rapid market movements with greater precision. Data will be available through multiple platforms, including the TMI information distribution system and J-Quants Pro, accommodating both institutional trading operations and retail investment services.

JPXI has introduced an early subscription campaign offering substantial discounts to encourage adoption ahead of the September launch. Customers signing agreements by year-end 2026 will receive 75% off standard usage fees through the first quarter of 2027, regardless of use case. Interested parties must complete formal application procedures and execute a service agreement with JPXI to access the platform.

Japan Exchange Group operates the Tokyo Stock Exchange and provides market data, trading systems, and related services to financial institutions and market participants across Asia.
