The online retail financial services provider posted profit before tax of £72.7 million, down 10.1% from £80.9 million in the year ended March 31, 2025. Profit after tax fell 8.8% to £57.7 million from £63.3 million.
Operating profit declined to £66.1 million from £68.8 million in the prior year, a decrease of 3.9%. The company attributed the revenue increase to growth in its core retail trading business, which rose to £269.5 million from £245.1 million.
CMC Markets UK PLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CMC Markets plc, provides contracts for difference, financial spread bets, cash equities and options trading services. The company is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Average employee headcount decreased to 572 from 556 in the prior year. The company paid dividends of £112.4 million during the period, compared with £101.8 million in FY2025.
