ActivTrades PLC, the UK-based financial markets broker, reported revenue of £33.1 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2025, down 12% from £37.6 million in the prior year, according to accounts filed with Companies House.
The decline was driven by lower trading gains and losses, which fell to £32.2 million from £36.5 million. Interest income also decreased to £981,000 from £1.1 million.
Operating profit dropped sharply to £410,000 from £2.6 million in 2024, an 84% decline. Profit before tax fell 50% to £2.3 million from £4.6 million, while profit after tax decreased 57% to £1.8 million from £4.1 million.
The FCA-regulated broker, which offers contracts for difference and spread betting in forex, indices, commodities and equities, saw its direct cost of sales decrease 76% to £759,000 from £3.2 million. Administrative expenses remained relatively stable at £32.0 million compared to £31.9 million.
Client money held at year-end totaled £27.1 million, up from £24.3 million in 2024. The group’s shareholder funds decreased to £37.0 million from £42.0 million following dividend payments of £4.9 million.
Average headcount increased to 273 employees from 260, with the Bulgaria branch accounting for 123 staff. The company paid interim dividends totaling £4.9 million during 2025, compared to £1.5 million in the prior year. No final dividend was declared.
