IG Group Limited, the intermediate holding company for IG Group Holdings plc’s subsidiaries, reported a 41% decline in profit for the financial year ended May 31, 2025, according to accounts filed with UK Companies House.

The company posted profit before tax of £209.7 million, down from £357.9 million in the prior year. Profit after tax was also £209.7 million, compared with £357.9 million for the year ended May 31, 2024.

The decline was driven by a sharp drop in dividend income from subsidiaries, which fell 41% to £210.0 million from £358.0 million in the prior year. Dividend receipts from Market Data Limited totaled £155.5 million, down from £319.0 million, while IG Knowhow Limited contributed £54.5 million compared with £39.0 million previously.

Operating costs increased slightly to £0.3 million from £0.1 million. The company reported no tax expense for either period.

IG Group Limited functions as an intermediate holding company within the IG Group structure, with its principal activity being the holding of investments in group companies. Net assets stood at £682.1 million as of May 31, 2025, marginally lower than £682.4 million at the prior year end.

The company paid dividends of £210.0 million to its sole shareholder, IG Group Holdings plc, during the fiscal year, compared with £358.0 million in the prior period. The company has no employees, with directors remunerated by the wider group.
