CMC Markets UK plc reported revenue of £298.6 million for the financial year ending March 31, 2024, a 12% increase from £266.6 million in the prior year, according to accounts filed with Companies House.

The online retail financial services provider posted profit before tax of £81.4 million, up 38% from £59.1 million in fiscal 2023. Profit after tax rose 29% to £65.9 million from £51 million in the previous year.

Net operating income increased to £293.3 million from £251.4 million, while operating profit climbed to £60.5 million from £49.1 million. The company recorded operating expenses of £220.5 million, compared with £201.9 million in the prior period.

Total revenue included CFD trading income of £263.8 million, up from £238.6 million, and management and service fees of £32.1 million, compared with £25.7 million previously. Interest income on own funds rose to £7.3 million from £2.6 million.

The company’s headcount grew to 583 employees on average during the year, up from 625 in fiscal 2023. Total assets stood at £635.8 million as of March 31, 2024, down from £659.1 million a year earlier.
