CMC Markets UK PLC reported total revenue of £304.7 million for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, a 4.1% increase from £292.7 million in the prior year, according to accounts filed with UK Companies House.

The online retail financial services provider posted a profit before tax of £72.7 million, down 10.1% from £80.9 million in fiscal 2025. Profit after tax fell 8.8% to £57.7 million from £63.3 million the previous year.

Operating profit declined to £66.1 million from £68.8 million, a 3.9% decrease year-over-year. The company attributed continued investment in technology, product development, and institutional capabilities to the increased operating expenses of £228.3 million, up from £217.3 million.

Net assets decreased to £391.1 million from £443.4 million, reflecting dividend payments of £112.4 million during the year compared to £101.8 million in fiscal 2025.

Average headcount fell to 565 employees from 585 in the prior year as the company focused on cost discipline and operational efficiency through outsourcing certain functions.

The company paid dividends totaling £112.4 million, with £75 million settled through an inter-company balance offset and £37.4 million paid in cash to its parent, CMC Markets UK Holdings Limited.
