IG Group Limited, the intermediate holding company for IG Group Holdings plc’s subsidiaries, reported a 41% decline in profit for the financial year ending May 31, 2025, according to filings with UK Companies House.

The company posted profit before tax of £209.7 million, down from £357.9 million in the prior year. Profit after tax also fell to £209.7 million from £357.9 million, with no tax expense recorded in either period.

Dividend income, which represents the company’s primary revenue source as an investment holding entity, declined 41% to £210.0 million from £358.0 million in FY2024. The company received £155.5 million from subsidiary Market Data Limited and £54.5 million from IG Knowhow Limited during the year.

Operating costs increased to £0.3 million from £0.1 million in the prior year. Net assets remained stable at £682.1 million compared to £682.4 million at the end of FY2024.

The company paid dividends of £210.0 million to its parent company, IG Group Holdings plc, during the year, down from £358.0 million in FY2024. IG Group Limited has no employees, with directors remunerated by the wider group.

Investment in subsidiaries held steady at £678.7 million. Following the balance sheet date, in December 2025, the company received dividends totaling £260.0 million from subsidiaries and subsequently paid an equivalent dividend to its parent company.
