Ripple has launched Ripple Mint, a unified platform enabling institutions to access, mint, redeem, and manage Ripple USD (RLUSD) through both manual and automated workflows. The platform addresses the operational demands of exchanges, market makers, and institutional traders, requiring real-time integration and system-level automation for stablecoin operations at scale.

  • Issuer: Standard Custody & Trust Company, LLC (NYDFS-chartered)
  • Interface Options: Web console for manual oversight and APIs for programmatic integration
  • Core Capabilities: Direct minting and redemption, cross-chain bridging, transaction lifecycle tracking, webhook notifications
  • Supported Blockchains: XRP Ledger, Ethereum, XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink, and Unichain

Ripple Mint replaces the previous platform-based experience with infrastructure designed for institutional scale. The system provides both user interface controls for operational oversight and APIs enabling direct integration into customer infrastructure. Through webhook notifications and consistent reference IDs, institutions gain end-to-end visibility across fiat and blockchain transactions while reducing manual operational processes.

RLUSD’s multichain expansion anchors on the XRPL EVM Sidechain, combining Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility with the broader XRP ecosystem. This positioning allows the stablecoin to access DeFi protocols, payment applications, and emerging onchain financial infrastructure while reinforcing the complementary role of XRP as a liquidity and settlement asset across supported chains.

Ripple Mint is available immediately to existing RLUSD customers. The company continues developing the platform as a comprehensive institutional access solution for stablecoin operations and liquidity management. Ripple develops blockchain infrastructure and payment solutions for the financial services industry.
