The Central Bank of Ireland has issued a public warning against Aoncfd (CLONE), an unauthorised investment firm operating online CFD trading services under a fraudulent Dublin address. The warning, issued on 17 July 2026, alerts consumers that the entity is not authorised to provide investment services in Ireland and has no regulatory standing with the central bank.

- Websites: https://aoncfd.com and https://client.aoncfd.com/app.php
- Contact Email: support@aoncfd.com
- Claimed Address: Iveagh Court 6, Harcourt Road, Dublin 2, Ireland
Aoncfd (CLONE) has engaged in a sophisticated impersonation scheme, copying details from Aon Solutions Ireland Limited, a legitimate Central Bank-authorised firm (C29118). The clone operator has fraudulently used the authorised entity’s name, Dublin address, and CONSOB registration number 5141 to create the appearance of legitimacy. The central bank emphasised there is no connection whatsoever between the authorised entity and the unauthorised clone.
The Central Bank of Ireland has published the firm’s name under section 53 of the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013. Consumers who have engaged with the platform or suspect fraudulent activity are encouraged to report the matter directly to the Central Bank by telephone at (01) 224 5800. The regulator has provided guidance on protecting against financial scams at www.centralbank.ie/financialscams.
This warning reflects growing concerns over clone investment firms targeting retail traders across international markets. The impersonation of authorised entities remains a persistent threat in the CFD sector, with scammers leveraging regulatory credentials and established firm identities to deceive investors seeking legitimate trading platforms.
