Alpha Capital Group now offers cTrader as one of four live trading platforms on its proprietary evaluation environment, providing traders with desktop, web, mobile, and algorithmic trading capabilities. The platform became available to evaluate account holders following the company’s expansion of its trading infrastructure, though new US-based customers remain excluded from accessing the service.

  • Supported Devices: Windows, MacOS, Android, and web browser
  • Key Features: Advanced charting tools, fast order execution, cTrader Automate support
  • Credential Delivery: Card payments issued immediately; crypto and PayPal take up to 24 hours
  • Not Available: Expert Advisor (EA) functionality, copy trading
  • US Market Access: Existing US customers may continue; new US customers cannot open accounts

Users log in via cTrader email and password rather than a separate account number. The setup process requires configuring the Assets tab in Settings and deselecting the “Set units per Asset class” option after initial login. Alpha Capital provides desktop installation through its branded cTrader setup executable and web access via app.acg-markets.com. Password resets are available through cTrader’s central identity portal at id.ctrader.com/reset.

The cTrader offering targets manual traders seeking desktop or web-based execution without algorithmic strategies or copy trading functionality. Traders requiring Expert Advisor support must use the company’s MT5 platform instead, which supports approved risk-management tools under Alpha Capital’s rules. The platform remains in live status while the company develops its proprietary Alpha Trader system, listed as coming soon on the firm’s platforms page.

The geographic restriction on cTrader reflects ongoing regulatory challenges in the United States. Alpha Capital Group directs new US-based clients toward alternative platforms including DX Trade and TradeLocker. Existing cTrader clients in the United States retain access to their accounts and may purchase additional evaluation packages under the current policy.
