OpenPayd’s stablecoin infrastructure makes its platform fully rails-agnostic, allowing seamless money movement across traditional payment networks and blockchain systems. The offering enables businesses to on- and off-ramp between fiat and stablecoins, settle payments across multiple rails, and manage liquidity across traditional and digital ecosystems. In June 2026, the company secured authorisation under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework, permitting regulated crypto-asset services across the European Economic Area under a single licence.
The award marks the second major industry recognition for OpenPayd within its first year. The company previously won Best Early Stage Future Payments Initiative at The Card & Payments Awards 2026. OpenPayd’s client roster includes global brands such as eToro, Kraken, OKX, and B2C2, with the platform processing more than $280 billion in annual transaction volumes across its user base.
OpenPayd, founded in 2018 by Dr. Ozan Ozerk, provides the infrastructure layer for next-generation financial services by enabling real-time money movement globally across fiat and digital assets.
