Match-Prime Liquidity received the Best B2B Liquidity Provider – APAC 2026 award on 8 October at the UF AWARDS APAC, following a public vote that the company attributes partly to its performance in maintaining competitive gold spreads during periods of market stress.
- Award: Best B2B Liquidity Provider – APAC 2026
- Award Date: 8 October 2026
- Gold Spread Standard: Approximately 10 cents in EU and US trading hours
- Key Test Date: 30 January, described as gold’s worst day in over 40 years
- Infrastructure Event: Globex halted on 28 November 2025
Match-Prime published performance metrics across recent market-stress days, comparing its gold spreads against three comparable prime-of-prime providers. The data showed Match-Prime maintained the lowest gold spread on every measurement day. The company emphasizes that liquidity provider performance extends beyond spread width, but argues that sustaining narrow spreads during high-volatility periods represents a substantive measure of service quality for brokers.
The company attributes its stress-day performance to three internally developed systems: an aggregation and routing infrastructure that switches pricing to live sources when primary feeds degrade; HawkEye, a risk engine that monitors live trading activity and applies controls at the individual trader level to protect the broader book; and a staffed dealing desk positioned to maintain agreed client terms during market events. On 30 January, when gold experienced its worst day in over four decades, Match-Prime stated it made no changes to client limits, margin requirements, or trading hours during the session. When Globex halted on 28 November 2025, the company’s gold feed remained operational while competitors’ pricing thinned.
Match-Prime Liquidity operates as a B2B liquidity provider serving brokers across the Asia-Pacific region. The firm has committed to continued publication of performance metrics and ongoing investment in its aggregation, risk management, and dealing infrastructure.
